Lisa Golden appointed Geisinger-Community Medical Center Vice President of Clinical Operations

Screen-Shot-2014-04-08-at-9.42.32-AMWILKES-BARRE, Pa. – Lisa Golden has been named the vice president of clinical operations for Geisinger-Community Medical Center (G-CMC).

In her new role, Ms. Golden will partner with Anthony D. Aquilina, D.O., chief medical officer, G-CMC, and the G-CMC senior leadership team. Ms. Golden will oversee the implementation of clinical program plans, the $97.1 million facility expansion project and the overall operational performance of G-CMC.

Prior to joining Geisinger in 2006, Ms. Golden served in a leadership position in Care Management at Geisinger Wyoming Valley until May of 2013 when she joined G-CMC as associate vice president, Clinical Program Development. Since joining G-CMC, she has established herself as a capable leader working in collaboration with the leadership team at G-CMC and Service Line Leadership.

As a 1990 graduate of Wilkes University, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., Ms. Golden earned a bachelor’s degree in nursing. She then earned a Master of Health Care Administration from King’s College, Wilkes-Barre, Pa., in 2012.

Ms. Golden is the 2011 recipient of the Geisinger Division of Quality and Safety Award.  She is a certified accredited case manager and a certified critical care registered nurse.
