Program Description
ALL CLASSES ARE TAUGHT ACCORDING TO THE NEW AHA GUIDELINES 2000.
The Basic Cardiac Life support (CPR) course is intended to offer the person who is interested, the knowledge and skills to be able to perform CPR. There are different courses available, such as Adult, Infant/Child, combination of both and the Healthcare Provider Course.
The Heartsaver CPR course is designed to teach CPR and relief of foreign-body airway obstruction to all lay rescuers, particularly those who are expected to respond to emergencies in the work place. Ex. Security guards, police, firefighters and other lay responders. It is for those people who are required to obtain a credential documenting completion of a CPR course. It can be adult only, Infant/child only or all three.
The Healthcare Provider Course is designed to teach the skills of CPR for victims of all ages. It is intended for physicians, nurses, paramedics, EMT, RTs, PTs, PAs, nursing students, to name a few.
The HeartSaver Course will be arranged with groups upon request.

There is a written test and a certification card for these courses.
