Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Provider Renewal

Program Description:
The Advanced Cardiac Life Support Provider Renewal Program is a one-day training program intended for healthcare providers who participate in the resuscitation of patients in the hospital or pre-hospital setting and have a current ACLS Provider card. The course involves participants in a series of simulated cardiopulmonary cases to enhance their skills in the treatment of patients.

Healthcare providers whose occupations require proficiency in ACLS skills.

Topics Include:
- The Basic Life Support (BLS) primary survey
– The ACLS secondary survey
– Effective resuscitation team dynamics
– Management of the patient in cardiac arrest
– Selection of treatment protocols using the ACLS algorithms
