G-CMC Earns Press Ganey Recognition

Geisinger-Community Medical Center was recently recognized for improved emergency department satisfaction scores by Press Ganey. Press Ganey recently recognized Geisinger-Community Medical Center with its “Journey to High Performance” award for improving Emergency Department Overall Satisfaction Scores for the fourth quarter of 2011.

For more than 25 years, Press Ganey has been the industry’s recognized leader in health care performance improvement, working with more than 10,000 health care organizations nationwide, including 50 percent of all U.S hospitals, to improve clinical and business outcomes.

Every area of G-CMC’s Emergency Department scored a statistically significant increase that outperformed the Press Ganey Benchmark.
